Hello lovely readers! Hope all of you are doing well. It was a hectic week for me and the weekend has been hectic already since I have been doing a lot of traveling. I generally write before going to bed, however today it’s different. It’s early morning and it’s going to be a work from home day since I am traveling. And since it’s not quite a rushy morning for me, so I got time to sit down and write down the blog. Let me start by asking you guys a few questions, a little bit of brainstorming will help you connect with the blog easily.

  • What does success mean to you?
  • Is your work as per your taste and satisfying?
  • Are you able to maintain a work-life balance?
  • What efforts are you making towards your happiness?
  • Do you have any beliefs which aren’t really your own?
  • Do you spend quality time with your loved ones?
  • Are you afraid of expressing some of your feelings?

The biggest question of all is – Are you living the life that you chose for yourself or the life which others want you to live?

The above questions help us analyse where we stand in life. Every one of us set goals for self – be it long term or short term goals. There are some goals which are significant and we know when we have achieved them or are planning to achieve them. However, out of the several goals which we set, most of these are the actions to be taken on a daily basis. We need to ensure that we are living our lives in the most organised manner. Now the question is how to accomplish all of this?

  • Sit down and make sure of things which are important to you

Before you go to sleep and as soon as you wake up in the morning, give yourself few minutes to answer this question – What’s it that you want, your goals, your aspirations and things you are scared of?

  • Prioritize

Since you have an idea of what you want in life, you now may want to prioritize these. Look at the choices and basis their importance, make a framework in order of priorities.

  • Don’t let other people define you

Never, never let anyone impact your way of thinking. I believe that the journey is not about the ‘best’, but about being the ‘best me’. Create your own identity.

  • Don’t get stuck on your mistakes

Remember, realizing your mistakes is what matters. It is after all, a continuous and learning process. Do not get demotivated and take it in a positive manner.

  • Do you find happiness in what you are doing?

Is it only about the destination where you want to reach or the journey is more important? In my opinion both are equally important. If you don’t enjoy the journey, there’s no point struggling to achieve those goals.

“The minute you begin to do what you really want to do, it’s really a different kind of life” – R. Buckminster Fuller
